The Game Slows Down

When Your QB IQ Catches Up

“Most quarterbacks don’t fail because they can’t throw.
They fail because the game speeds up and no one teaches them to slow it back down.” - Coach Jeremy Grubb

So you guess. You hesitate. And the play is over.

QB IQ LAB exists to fix that.

Meet coach JEREMY Grubb

Coach Grubb is a quarterback coach and football systems educator who teaches quarterbacks how the game is structured, not just how to throw. He specializes in decision architecture, defensive structure recognition, pressure math, and situational football. His coaching is built around install level understanding so quarterbacks can process faster, communicate clearly, and operate with control.

Coach Grubb played 7 seasons at quarterback. 6 in his younger days of football and 1 season at the semi-pro level, along with 15 total seasons as a free safety. That dual perspective shapes his approach. He teaches how coverages are built. He does not just explain pressure, he teaches why pressure is presented the way it is. Having seen the game from both sides of the ball gives him a structural lens that separates him from other private teaching.

Before returning to football, Coach Grubb spent eight years in the golf industry as a teaching professional and head of instruction, delivering over 6000 hours of individual coaching and clinics. That experience refined his ability to breakdown complex performance environments into teachable structures.

His coaching today is direct, disciplined, and application based.

Film - Structure - Situational clarity

“I believe the game slows down when the picture makes sense. When quarterbacks know what they’re looking at and why a decision works, confidence shows up naturally.”

If the game feels fast,

it’s not because you’re bad

It’s because you need to be taught how

to see it.
