The Game Slows Down

When Your QB IQ Catches Up

“Most quarterbacks don’t fail because they can’t throw.
They fail because the game speeds up and no one teaches them to slow it back down.” - Coach Jeremy Grubb

What is QB IQ LAB?

Film-based quarterback coaching.

Split-screen image showing a person filming a football player on a mobile phone on a tripod on a football field, and another person with headphones editing a football game on a laptop, with text promoting virtual film review with a coach.

You will learn how to:

√ Read defenses before the snap

√ Understand coverage after the snap

√ Know where your answers are on each play

√ Handle pressure without panicking

√ Make smarter decisions faster

√ Lead the offense with confidence

You won’t leave guessing.

You’ll leave knowing.

Most quarterbacks are told:

“Make faster decisions”

“Trust your read”

“See it quicker”

But no one explains HOW or WHY.

So you guess. You hesitate. And the play is over.

QB IQ LAB exists to fix that.

Meet coach JEREMY Grubb

Coach Grubb is a quarterback coach and film based performance instructor who helps quarterbacks understand what’s happening on the field so they can make better decisions and stay in control of the game.

He played quarterback and spent time around the semi-pro level, which gave him a real experience in the position, the pressure, and the responsibility that comes with it. Earlier in his coaching career, he worked in youth football before his path shifted into golf instruction, where he gave more than 6,000 hours of individual lessons and clinics. During that time he was teaching athletes how to learn skills, think through decisions, and perform when the situation mattered.

That background shapes how he coach’s quarterbacks today. Coach Grubb is not focused on running players through endless drills or chasing highlights. He works through film, structure, and real game situations to help quarterbacks see defenses, understand their answers, and play faster mentally.

Coach Grubb’s coaching style is calm and direct.

“I believe the game slows down when the picture makes sense. When quarterbacks know what they’re looking at and why a decision works, confidence shows up naturally.”

If the game feels fast,

it’s not because you’re bad

It’s because you need to be taught how

to see it.
